Best Android Phone 2019 - Our Choices

So, we finally enter the year 2019. A year that seems to be a good one for all tech lovers. After telling you about the advanced Android 9, now we want to tell you what we think about all the bright phones in this wonderful year.

On the last 2018, the 5G connection development was catching our eyes. Seeing the potential of this, many people surely can’t wait for its existence sometime this year. Aside from it, we also met the new Snapdragon 855 that brings so much potential for android phones.

So what’s new this year? Of course, everyone has dreams. In 2018 alone, the world of technology already grew more advanced in only a short time. 2019 surely will bring new things to Android development. Things that we want, things that can be really useful for us. And here’s our expectations

The working 5G Connections

So, if your 4G internet is not fast enough, here’s 5G internet connection that can double up the speed. Back in 2018, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 855, which said to be capable to carry 5G connection on your very phone. So, any phones with it are capable to have the fastest internet connection in the world.

But of course, not all phones will have that useful ability. For now, we only know two potential phones that have 5G. Oneplus will have a 5G phone in 2019, but only in the specific region, like Europe. Aside from that, Samsung also catching up with a plan to release a 5G phone too.

Less Power Consumption

The better processor is also useful for battery saving. For example, the new Snapdragon 855 has the power saving ability for entertainment purposes like watching videos on Youtube or maybe Netflix on the go.

Gaming experience also greatly enhanced by this feature, because you can play games longer, with less battery consumption, plus better graphics.

Phones with Bigger RAM

In 2018, we can see phones with 2GB and 4GB of RAM. Even though many people said the RAM is not that important, but for us, it’s somewhat untrue. With the app's development that getting more advanced each day, it’s not hard to find RAM demanding applications.

Simples things like Chrome can even make your phone lags, especially if you activate the other apps at the same time for mobility. Games on the phone also require the players to fulfill the high phone requirements. Sometimes, they even want us to have a full 4GB of RAM just for them. That’s why, in 2019, there will be phones with 8G or even 16GB of RAM, which surely can be found in the best android phone 2019 in the future.

No More Bezels

Bezels seem to be the thing that people hate right now. Phones with thick bezels are now considered as old or ancient phones by many. Why people are hating them? Because bezels can actually block your display. Phones in 2019 will have fewer bezels (or maybe no bezel at all) in order to make the display larger.

Better Camera

We can take pictures with Bokeh easily with our phone. But what about a video? This feature that commonly is found in the camera can be applied to phones. With the latest Snapdragon Processor, taking video with Bokeh by computer vision ISP would be easy peasy.

Google Pixel 3

This phone was first released back in November 2018 and surely usable this year. Google Pixel 3 already equipped with the latest Android 9 operating system. The P-OLED screen makes the display richer than before.

Using the USB type C with reversible connector would be very helpful, especially there’s Power Delivery 2.0 feature that also supporting them. But there’s a negative though, the “small” battery capacity. But this can be cured with an adaptive battery feature from the latest Android version.

Samsung Note 9

A device from Samsung that should be included on our list of best android phone 2019 is Samsung Note 9. This phone will receive the latest update in this January 2019 in order to make its performance better. It also has the Bixby.

Yes, many say Bixby is really troublesome. But in 2019, it will receive an update to make it works better than before. Other than that, Samsung Note 9 with its iconic yellow S pen and our old friend, 3.5 mm headphone jack, is awesome.

Honor View 20

Next one is Honor View 20. It was released in China back in December 2018. This version of Honor phones brings solid 256 internal storage for many apps that you want. It’s a bezel-less phone that has a very nice glowy design on the back.

Honor View 20 also equipped with 8GB of RAM that combined with Kirin 980 Processor for a better gaming experience. With this phone, you can capture video in 2160 and 1080p with 30 fps and 960 fps at 720p. The phone also has the Android Pie that works very well with battery, display, its main camera.

Xiaomi Mi 9

So what is this brand doing now? After blowing the internet with Xiaomi Pocophone F1, the most affordable Snapdragon 845 you can get out there, Xiaomi is planning to release another groundbreaking phone called Xiaomi Mi 9. Looking at the expected specifications from Xiaomi Mi9, even some argue wether is that possible or not.

The Xiaomi Mi9 will have the 48MP main camera that able to take a picture at 2160 with around 30 or 60 fps (you can choose one). Another interesting thing about this phone is the HDR10 display that usually used for television. For gaming, the phone also has the latest Snapdragon 855 with 8GB RAM. So you can play all games in the store with maximum setting basically. Playing all kinds of gaming emulator would be a breeze. That’s why we included this phone in the list of best android phone 2019.

LG Foldable Phone

And finally, the future of phones in 2019 here. LG introduced its revolutionary product, The LG Foldable Phone. The nice thing about this phone is it's foldable. It does sound so simple, but it’s actually not. 

It’s possible to open one app on one side, and another app on the other ones. It can make the phone more simple, easy to use, and also more efficient. You can also watch a movie on your phone while controlling it directly at the bottom screen. There’s a lot of possibilities in this phone, and let us all witness it at the Mobile World Congress 2019.
